Keeping your clock in time

A useful command (if you care about having a reasonably exact clock) is

sudo ntpdate -u ntp.ubuntu.com

This will update your clock to that maintained by the ubuntu timeserver.  I think I’m going to have to add this to a cronjob, of course getting around the sudo permissions for the cronjob might prove annoying.
